I just orderd my first M3, and in fact, my first BMW ever. Coming from an Audi RS4, I will have to say, the M3 is wthout a doubt one of those "reference" cars. It is a benchmark by which all others are judged.
When anything evenly remotely similar comes out, it is always compard to the M3...and when all is said and done, it usually loses.
