I don't see the benefit in using this JL amp to power the 4" drivers for two reasons:

- there are 7 4" drivers in your car, each one powered by their own OEM amp channel. So you will need at least 5 channels of amplification (if you wire the 4 rear drivers in parallel) to drive all these speakers. That will leave you with a single mono channel of 75W RMS to drive two 4 ohms SWS-8 in parallel... not enough power.

- the OEM amp outputs around 75W max per channel at 4 ohms for the 4" drivers, and 150W max per channel at 7 ohms for the woofers. There is plenty of power already for the 4" drivers.

Now, you could set this amp to power a pair of 4 ohms SWS-8 in a bridged configuration which will yield a 150W RMS per channel, and still have one channel left:

Quote:
Rated Power (Bridged): 90WRMSx3@8Ω(12.5V) 150W RMS x 3 @ 4Ω (12.5V) THD at Rated Power: <0.08% @ 4 ohms per channel (20Hz-20kHz)
