I was looking at these RV filters and they look like they'll flow better and easier to install since you don't need any adapters. Some Amazon reviews say it works well for car washing too.

I bought adapters 1/2" to 3/4" for the shower filter and works perfect, no flow rate difference out of power washer. I was surprised. Water spots were almost non-existent, I let it air dry. This is using a 9mo old shower filter.
