Here in the Detroit Michigan area, I get more scowls in my M3 or even in the 335i than I get looks of approval. As you might imagine people are very partial to domestic brands around here. I just read that GM was losing money. They lose money on every car they sell. Tell your neighbors you are actually doing them a favor by buying a BMW. If you had bought a GM, they just would have lost more money.
