I want to major in econ because I'm really interested in the way the economy works and I wouldn't mind a stock broker or similar job after college. And if I can't get a job pertaining to my major, so be it. I know plenty of people who graduated college and make their living doing nothing remotely close to what they studied in college. Thanks that's a really interesting article. I really don't want to move back in after college. I'd rather wait until later to get an M or something of similar stature.
