I don't know the residuals and money factor for January, but in Dec it was amazing.
I did the math, and it came out cheaper to lease than to finance and sell (I personally never keep cars for a long time)
I remember it came out to $967/month if I did a finance at 2.9% (purchase price of 83k, and assuming the car is worth 56k in 3 years, using 09 e93s as reference) versus a 36 month lease, where the lease came out to 811/month
I think the967 was cheap considering that in 3 years the new m3 will be out, so the cars would depreciate even more.. bringing up the total cost, probably to over 1100/month
But I don't feel like breaking it all down..
And $4/gallon isn't scary
I just paid about 3.6 the other day. Close enough.
