I think the new M3/4 will be a better car for anyone who daily drives it. But for the spirited drives and track days, the E9x M3 is still sublime. I'd love to own both, but hate the idea of sticking with the M3 or BMW again when there are so many other great cars to experience out there. I really need to get myself into a mid or rear engined car next.
