I've used 1Z Cockpit cleaner when I had to get some powdery stuff off it once. I'm told that stuff is okay for leather.

For my seats I use Zaino Bros. I suppose that would work for the carbon fiber leather too.

Regarding the notion that water is all you need, I am skeptical. Oils are what cause breakdown in coatings. So if people touch the leather it will leave oils behind and water is not going to take that off.
