I think you have Comfort Access. Do take full advantage of this feature. It's designed to work this way. In case you don't know, you don't need to press any of the buttons on your key to lock/unlock the car. Just tap on the door handle and it will lock/unlock. (Touch the part just above the keyhole on the door handle).
