The 08 are super cheap now and the 09-10 are very affordable. Even some 11s. Once you look at CPO though you're talking 5-7k price hike. All though they are offering .9% APR on 11 CPO right now which helps a little. Probably a last ditch effort to clear some inventory before price drops.

Just for reference, I bought my car last month for $43.5K. It's a 2011 E90 M3 DCT with 26.3k miles fully loaded (Competition, Premium, Technology, Cold Weather, Premium Sound). Not a CPO but I good a really good deal. In my opinion the car you mention should sell for under 45k.
