Follow up: I just bought the new DFP GT for $149.99. I was quite surprised as everyone was talking of a May 2008 release. I thought about the G25 but got enticed by the GT endorsement on the wheel. Its pretty much an update of the DFP but smoother. I like the red knob and the ability to make on-the-fly adjustments (brake bias, ABS, ASM, traction control etc.)
I reckon the G25 is still the better quality product (materials, construction) but discussions on lack of 100% support with GT swayed me away.
I'll probably pick up a playseats evo, my homemade rig is not cutting it anymore
The evo seems better made than the classic and I guess $300 is an ok price for what it is. I'd love to get the Sparco GT set up but that's close to $600
About the buttkicker, how'd it attach to the playseat? Any idea? Thinking of picking it up as well.
