I would not remove unless weight was critical. It's a nice tuning tool to have especially for a quick and dirty rain setup. Soften shocks change pressures and disconnect one end link and you have a nice predictable repeatable rain setup with no spring swapping necessary

But stiffer than stock? Don't see the point and most seem to agree with me unless there is another limiting factor that doesn't allow you to run the springs you want. The adjustability of even the stiffer ones is pretty negligible considering they're not much stiffer in absolute terms and they are attached waaay inboard on the control arm so the impact on wheel rate is small
