Mechanical sound from steering wheel area?

Hi,
I just had the 29k service done and since then i am hearing a mechanical pumping sound form the left side of the steering wheel. Since i had the car, I used to have that sound when i start the car and i was told that its the DCT hydrolic pump to re-pressurize the hydrolics of the paddle shifters. that sounded reasonable so i was perfectly fine with it until now.

Since the 29k i realized that the mechanical sound keeps coming on at slow speeds, sometimes right after moving from red lights. I am wondering if there is a problem with the system, maybe a pressure leak. or is it supposed to run all the time but i just started realizing it now? In the service they didnt do anything to transmission. they did change the differential oil but i think they can not be related.

Anyone else experiencing similar issues?
