Powder coating or caliper paint on Disc brake hats?

Question fella's,

I've posted before about my APracing disc hats/calipers paint that was ruined by Megquire's wheel cleaners. I will be sending off the calipers to IND to be re-painted but not sure what to do with the disc hats.

My options are,

New hats (expensive)

have them powder coated (they are anodyzed alluminum)

or rough up the surface, clean it, and re-paint with high-temp caliper paint.

The big question is should I powder coat them instead? I contacted a local shop that does powder coating and they suggested against it due to the fact that durring track use, the hats will heat up higher than an engine block and powder coating painted surface my start to discolor and fail due to the temperature's being higher than 240 F.

So should I just re-paint them with high-temp caliper paint instead?

Cheers,
RB
