I had a B5 S4, it was pretty bad.. but my friend has a B6 S4 with the V8 and no issues. I have heard about carbon buildup on the S5 although that may apply to all direct injected engines. Benz is probably the most reliable out of all 3 now. (After the Chrysler fiasco)
