USAA is offering an extended warranty covering all systems and subsystems minus normal wear items (brake rotors, pads, tires, wipers, spark plugs, fluids). I'm waiting for the fine print to show up so that I can id any pitfalls. They are offering a 60 day cancellation (no charge) full refund and a prorated refund through the end of the warranty period. The warranty is transferable for a $40 fee.
I don't have the details in front of me, however they offered 4 plans of which I am looking at a 5 year 75,000 mile plan for $2,951. I do have a couple of follow up questions I need to ask, such as...is this from the end of the manufactures warranty period or from the date of purchase? How is the 75,000 miles measured (total vehicle miles or mileage from date of purchase)?
