However, recharging of course only takes place when you insert the key into the slot, I always do this on long trips (my dealer told me so when I picked up my former new Z4). I never experienced any issues with starting my cars. Both my former 2 cars and the cars I drive now have keyless entry and I follow that rule. |
The comfort access key battery is not rechargeable.
