That's probably the problem most are experiencing. This tranny doesn't like to be rushed on that shift. And most I've owned are like that, with Porsche being the exception. We're talking fractions of a second more, so not a big deal at all to me; we just have to live with that idiosyncrasy, like many others. And no way in hell I'd give up a manual transmission for that clunkiness. By the way, I'm about to test my car with Royal Purple tranny oil; hope it minimizes that clunkiness
