a reason why i love this forum.. multiculture.. in Cyprus we never take our shoes off either its our house or someone elses.. matter of fact if someone came into our house and took his shoes off we probably get offended because he was running around with his socks, or make a comment about taking off his smelly shoes

I believe its more of a culture thing than personal hygiene.. it never even crossed my mind in taking my shoes off in someone elses house..
