I havent even asked about a warranty for the work.....but i did ask about non OEM parts. Alex and i discussed the various versions of the stock bearings (stock, VAC coated, and other coatings) and rod bolts; he was willing to install whatever i wanted.

I told him i had not intentions to ever supercharge the car so we both agreed stock rod bolts and VAC coated bearings would be best. He did call me back and quoted $2100 for the job with parts i just mentioned with about a 3 day turnaround time. I already have an appointment to bring the car to him........
