We're drifting here. Back to the point, which is a different (i.e smaller/less obtrusive) form factor for 12V DC power other than a cigarette lighter, which size is defined by the size of a 1940's cigar. The industry should develop a new standard for a 12 volt power conector. USB has a max voltage of 5V and 500mA, which is hardley enough power to run something like a tire inflation kit, which many people here keep in the trunk in place of run-flats.
