I think one of the reasons Europeans don't have cupholders and don't drink soda/coffee/water in their cars the way Americans do is that Europeans work MUCH MUCH less than Americans and have a lot more free time. Isn't there some amazing law in Europe (Germany for sure) where peole have to work less than 40 hours per week? Something like 37 hours per week. Hell, sometimes I work 30 hours in one day!! (Meaning to start at 630 AM one day and get done around noon or one the next day).
