I know someone who's won a ton of shit for himself and his girl, and he even sells some of the stuff to make more.
But then I also know someone who got hooked on it, wouldn't get off and ended up wasting a lot of money and stressing himself out. It really depends how you play it and if you're willing to put in the time and have patience. Don't waste bids, you have to watch certain auctions for a while at first. Don't get greedy.
