Hmm, I like the V2's, but I don't know if I will need the added features. I need to do more research on the V1's.

In my opinion I wouldn't worry about the rust especially since you live in socal. Back when I had a 3 year lease on a 335, I had the STs and when I took them off at the end of my lease, there was no rust problems whatsoever.

As far as the warranty goes, I guess if you plan on keeping your car for more than 5 years, you would want to consider the longer warranty on the KWs but for me, I doubt I'll keep my car for over 5 years...except my e30.

As persion suggested, if possible I would save up and get the V2s even if you don't plan on tracking your car since you can control the dampening.
