I have 2 issues with 295s out back, one a 10" rim while it will support a 295 tire its not optimal. Also, you now have 40mm of stagger vs. the OEM 20mm. Granted a 285 out back with a 255 front is 30mm stagger vs. the OEM 20 but it is closer and it is whats on the GTS. A 295 rear should be followed along with a larger than 255 tire up front. Problem is your only choice is a 265/30/19 which is just way short for a tire at just 25.3" tall and the 275/30/19 which on a 9" rim will fit but once again its not optimal. If you are going to go down the road of a 295 rear I would also go with the 275 front on the 9" front ZCP wheel.

Something I have been pondering myself.

Another advantage of a 295 tire is that there is a larger selection of tires available than with the 285/30./19 as the 295/30/19 tire is a OEM PCar size.
