With all due respect, CHP and many CA local jurisdictions are so ticket happy that this strangely seems normal.
With the nations highest property, income and sales taxes coupled a broke state and many local governments...tickets are a very large source of revenue. A side effect is that it also makes the insurance companies rich in the process!
Thankfully I escaped from CA to Denver, one ticket in the past 8 years!
