Any number of contacts with parts of the course could have caused some missing rubber in that area. Unless there is something poking out of your fender or fender liner that would have worn the tire in that spot because of rubbing I'd say that damage is a non-issue.

Have a look at the fender and liner to make sure nothing is damaged, and keep on driving from there.
