All the spacers that I have bough so far (H&R, Turner and Velocity Motorcars) fit tight enough over the hub as to stay put while changing tires. The Velocity Motorcars spacers in particular are screwed first into the brake disc, so they do not move at all once installed.
do they just replace the OEM screw that hold the brake disc with the longer one?

that's what was worrying me about using spacers
just the hassle of having them fall of when i remove a wheel
and that some idiot mechanic would forget to remount them when i switched from summer to winter wheels etc
never used spacers before so have no idea how easy it is for them to fall off
