I decided to try this out myself for fun since I didn't want to drive down to LA and get EAS to do it. I bought a 15"x30' roll of flat black vinyl from a local sign shop. You will need this much since you will probably screw up once or twice per piece. I've covered most parts already and it's working pretty well so far. I've been getting some air bubbles but they're not that visible really. Make sure you get the high quality outdoor vinyl as thin as possible.
I'll post some pics when I finish. I am very happy with the results.
