Last I checked cars also need to brake and turn- and MT is 20kg lighter than DCT in addition to the 230kg difference between coupe and cab.
So E92 with 3 fat chicks in it will handle/brake/accelerate like an E93.
The E90/2 is well into to the 12-second 1/4 mile range with a 6MT or DCT... an E93 is markedly slower than an E90/2 with either gearbox combination.
Accept reality that the performance envelope of the cab is a degree lower than the fixed roof alternatives. I've accepted that I can't drop the top on my sedan.
