Unfortunately, most F-cars are garage queens and their owners are not going to push them, especially on a public road. If you kept up in your e90, then I would bet the F430 was just playing with you or didn't even take you serious.
The base f430 is like 2976 lbs and 550hp. In order to achieve the same lb/hp ration, an m3 has to have more 650 hp! When you take into account the f-cars chassis and aerodynamics advantage over the m3, the gap gets wider.

this man speaks the truth. I was thinking about this today. No ferrari or exotic owner cares about anything less. IMHO...They are at the top of the food chain.
It's just like people driving MB or BMW's and not giving a rat's ass about honda's, etc..
