Just want to give a shout out to the OP for sharing this info with the forums. I did the install yesterday with the modified strut mounts and bump stops. I'm really surprised at how well the car rides! I've never been a fan of lowering springs on any of the BMWs I've owned (as per the reasons in first post) but this seemingly works so far.
I went for a test run on some nasty bumpy an pothole ridden roads and it only bottomed out on one occasions, where I bet even a stock car would have. The car definitely rides a bit stiffer, even more pronounced in Sport Plus EDC mode which is a nice bonus. I felt the stock Sport Plus EDC didn't offer that much differentiation.
