FWIW my OEM bootlid came in slightly higher than the figure you have quoted in the OP. Without carpeting or hardware the trunklid weighed in at 26.0 lbs. I understand there are variances with different scales, etc. but thought I would pass on the info. The OEM brake weights that were weighed on the same scale seem to correlate with your figures, however.
I weighed the OEMs (Caliper, Rotor, and Dust Shield) and here are the results...
Fronts: 41.8 lbs.
Rears: 34.9 lbs.
...now onto the BBK and VRS double-sided trunk.

Does your trunk lid measurement include the mechanism or the lights? If it does, that might explain the difference. The catolog number does not include anything else other than the sheet metal.
Also, did you by any chance get seperate measurements on the disc vs. caliper assemblies?
