Yep; '08s and '09s have a button for the former (newer ones need a special sequence to activate it AFAIK). The latter has always been an iDrive feature. I've never used it even in hot TX because I never leave the car under the sun parked for more than a few minutes (plus with the sudden dust storms here I wouldn't anyway), but seems like a nice feature. Only problem is it drains the battery, so you should charge it after getting home if you use it, especially if you don't drive a long commute.

Has anyone ever been able to get rest functionality in an m3 (post 09 model year)? I thought m3s had mechanical waterpumps, which would make coolant recirculaation for Rest purposes impossible.
