This is what a girlfriend said yesterday as one of the friends came on a BMW: "I love the R8. If BMW had such a car, they are the only that don't have one!"
It is easy for Toyota with all their money, Mercedes with experience and a clientele accustomed to $200-400k cars, Porsche (who do nothing but) and Audi and Lamborghini with such a huge parts bin and VW to pay for it.

Let them take their time to step above the X6M and "lease for $300 a month!" mediocrity. They need to be convinced of a purpose and the need to be different.
