Totally agree! Saw the 991 at a local launch event. Judging by the size of the crowd, i swear it was the launch of the latest Toyota Corolla if i hadn't know better
Anyway, the new 991 is indeed more desirable, but way overpriced. I feel it doesn't give me enough of it to be worth jumping over from the M3 when buying new. Maybe the new Cayman S wouldn't hurt the wallet this much...
