Oh, I'm here and I'm laughing alright. I never realized there would be such a fury of responses to this topic.
If you'd like to know... I've decided to not give it to my daughter and sell off my M3.
The irony is that my daughter would prefer her first car to be a 6MT!
Rest assured that whatever 6MT she may get, it will not be an M3 and she will have to contribute a significant amount towards the cost. Maybe something like a 1:1 match where I would help her with half.
