What tires and what sizes are you looking at? I've been looking forever for anything other than summer tires, and found nothing in stock 19" sizes. Once I decided to go 1+ in size (255/275-35-19s), the DWSs seem the best and also the cheapest, but have been backordered since freaking March. The only other UHP A/S (just a few notches below max summer, like the PS2s) choice is the Pilot A/S, but I don't like them. And they're over 50% more than the Contis. Curious which tires you found.
Anyway, remember the speed rating is for SUSTAINED speeds, and at the MAXIMUM LOAD RATING. Exceeding it a little for a few seconds at less than full load is not an issue at all man. Take care.
