I have 3 harbor freight jacks...makes it easy and quick to put my pretty low 330 on jackstands. If you use the coupon, all 3 cost $180 + tax.
With that setup, you're talking about close to $1k with the stands and their jack. (of course, could use a cheaper jack). Even then, I'd rather just spend the extra money on a Maxjax...$2400 new but would be so worth it.

what is this maxjax you speak of. i just bought a new house and have been looking to put a 2 post lift in but have ruled it out due to space. they are too tall and wide and would waste far too much of my garage space. does anyone here use this product. looks like it may be ideal for me as i can move it out of the way when not in use. seems like it would need to be roto hammered to the floor? what prevents the cars weight from it pulling inward?
