I have just gone from a non-ZCP '08 E92/M3 to a ZCP '11 E92/M3 and have not noticed any difference with the scraping. I can tell you that it makes a difference if you drive very slowly when approaching the incline and, as you say, set the EDC on Sport and approach the incline at an angle. I have noticed that all three of these things work when I drive into my bank parking lot which has a steep incline at the entrance - and where I scraped once early on. That said, it's hard to tell from the pics. Good luck.
