Depreciation in the first year is the worst, so your 335is will take a big hit, if that matters.
Final year production should yield the most improved and reliable of the M3's for the E9X generation. However, once you get it, you will start seeing the new generation spypics. First year of the new generation will be the most exciting, but it will also have potentially the most bugs (and the least enticing finance/lease rates).
