bottom line on these cars is if your willing to turn your own wrenches mileage is not really much of a factor. in 10k miles I have spent about 500 in maintenance and that included spark plugs drivetrain fluids 5k engine oil changes and 2 air filters. that's probably 3k in work at the dealer which is absurd for how easy these cars are to work on
