I rented the C6 through Avis - second time I did it this year and I found the trick is to book early and get the rental squared away - trying to book within a month or so of the rental can cause the price to jump up 50% or more.
It was around USD$2,700 I think for 17 days and 4,000km and honestly anything less than a new Vette is absolutely painful to drive after owning an M3  (trust me we hired a PT Cruiser for a couple of days in DC and it was more fun to walk).

Thanks Tom! Hmmm... sounds like a great idea as far as the C6 is concerned. I'll check that out. The tyres do sound crazy cheap to get 4 corners for that price! Wow! Almost tempted to buy 4 corners now in reserve (just don't have anywhere to put them!)
