The NASCC is very close to having an agreement with Octane for use of the Edmonton Indy track, and the AADS would certainly be one of the interested parties thereafter.

Castrol Raceway is going to pave (sic) as soon as the snow's gone and the ground thaws, as they already have a few race dates set (Chump Car for one). Only a half track based on their ultimate design, and a season late, but better than nothing!

Stratotech is no longer for sale / in dire threat of closing its doors, so will be holding lapping sessions. It's not a great venue for a school, as it's very hard on brakes (little time to allow them to cool) and isn't forgiving to off-road excursions (though sections of former Race City weren't either, but there was no wall at the end of the straight as there is at Stratotech).

All above is per discussions at the latest Miata club meeting (Jan 19) at which a fellow AADS instructor and father of the NASCC's current President was in attendance giving us updates on things.
