Don't understand your logic here, BMW can't build good cars anymore .... Why?

Maybe their intent for the 1M wasn't to be as complete an allrounder as the M3 was, maybe they wanted something a bit less polished and raw that needed to be tamed. I don't honestly know if this opinion is right or just a by-product of introducing FI for the first, either way this car isn't like the any of the M3 editions that have come before or presently in production, if anything it sounds closer in spirit to the old 2002tti.

As for the M5, I am dieing to see how there new diff deals with a considerably more powerful and different torque curve than previous. Though I doubt it will be the failure you believe it to be.
