That's about how long I had 3M on my car. It was installed in 2009 and was getting pretty yellow. You should be happy and replace it now as it has served a full-life, it will require a heat gun and time. I replaced my 3M film 2 years ago and the new warranty is longer now and it's still super tough and durable.
