Believe me, back in the day (4 years ago), I tested every wire there, and all of the ones with sufficient power set off the Anti-Trap error warnings and stopped the sunroof from working properly. Then you have to reinitialize it and such, not to mention as the sunroof is operated the V1 will have intermittent power and will cycle on and off.

Tap it from the fusebox cigarette lighter, and run it up the passenger A pillar.
The Green/White wire can be used from the sunroof module, as this is KL15 switched power. Ground can be mounted to chassis.

There is no need to run remote power, unless installing on a convertible model.
