That's a little harsh, but I tend to agree. There are a lot of people out there that have little interest in wrenching on their cars or doing maintenance, but filling gas, checking oil and inflating your tires are basic necessities.

That said, the dealer should have inspected the tire and at least notified the OP of the puncture.
