I expected the M3 to be great, being a coupe and lighter.. And I don't think anyone can seriously think its a shitty car. It has its flaws, already reported by many, but still remains an awesome car. What would I buy for daily driving? Based on very similar performance numbers, a RS4 (as pointed out by prior magazine articles). What would I buy for the track? A M3. Not a big deal nor a surprise really.. And since I spend more time in the real world than on the track, the RS4 is a 'better' car in my opinion.
Their performance figures are close enough that any real world (ie- non professional) matchups will come down to driver, not machine.
