Agreed, my 1.5 works fine for side jacking points.
I also have the 2 ton napa jack. It's only 2 3/4" closed and will raise to 19 1/2" but that effer is heavy as hell at 90 #'s compared to 26#'s.
The napa jack works great if your trying to lift up on the center jacking points because it's much longer and lower profile. The 1.5 works great for side jacking points
